The Richmond Patriots, originally known as the Real Richmond Patriots, was started because we were tired of Republican Party operatives co-opting 912 groups and the Patriot Movement for their own partisan political ends. The Richmond Tea Party Patriots felt that the same thing was going on on in the Tea Party movement, so they started their own independent Tea Party group for the Richmond, VA area.
After years of both organizations working hard for freedom, liberty and smaller Constitutional government as two different organizations, admiring each others work, but covering similar areas, as well as posting many of the same stories from the same networks on our sites and social media, we have decided to merge into one new organization: The Richmond "Tea Party" Patriots.
